Delhi Ordinance Bill in Parliament: Live Updates and Rajya Sabha Adjourned Till Tomorrow

The bill to repeal the Delhi service control ordinance is expected to be discussed and passed by the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

The bill will be moved for passage in the House by Union Minister Amit Shah, according to the House's agenda for that day.

On Tuesday, the measure was introduced in the Lok Sabha, despite opposition parties' objections to the government's action.

When the bill is put up for consideration, opposition MPs including Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Saugata Roy, NK Premachandran, Sushil Kumar Rinku, and Asaduddin Owaisi are likely to present a resolution against the ordinance that was promulgated by the Centre in May of this year.

Days after the Supreme Court's decision on the matter, in May, control of services in Delhi was officially enacted.
